C-IT Controls was established in 1997 as and outgrowth of KAR Engineering as client demand began to drive control developement. With professionals licensed in several states, C-IT Controls has served many of the major oil companies worldwide. Current petroleum industries clients include BP/Amoco, Sun Oil, Motiva Enterprises/Texaco/Shell, Chevron and Petroleum Products, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, BASF, Novartis, Johnson and Johnson, the South Monmouth Sewerage Authority, Neptune Sewerage Authority, and Cornell University We recently completed work for Trigen-Nassau Energy and at the co-generation facility at Stony Brook University. Other projects currently in-house involve the pharmaceutical industry, precious metals recovery, marine construction, municipal waste treatment, real estate studies and project management.

C-IT is an integrated computer graphic software for automated terminal control and monitoring that can be incorporated into new systems or be retrofitted into existing installations. Among its advantages, C-IT provides for internet and telephone access, paging, remote alarm transmission, data logging, and many other customized features.
